busted!

Hiya Doggers,

I'm back!

As super busy hound I've neglected my blogging recently, but I haven't been a couch potato! No way! In fact the past few days I've been on two different movie sets, done two running workouts and worked an aid station in the Vancouver Marathon!

I'm exhausted!

So movie sets. I have no idea what movies they're for but one was out in Deep Cove on Monday morning and the other in my building all day Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. In Deep Cove, they were setting up props on the dock where my monkey was coaching and I got to play with three other dogs who, get this- lived on boats! Like a huge floating kennel!

How cool is that!

Oh yeah, the movie had some guy run out of the forest, past the dock and into town. Apparently he wasn't that fit as they filmed it in three section to let him rest up. And move cameras around.

The one in my building was lots of setting up elaborate lights and filming points. Seemed like the filming was over in just a few minutes though. Lots to watch in those days.

I ran Tuesday morning along the seawall with my monkey and Aunty Martina before they did a swimming workout. I'm not sure why I only get to do outdoor swimming workouts... Is it because I pee in the water? Like I'm the only one who does it!

This morning we were at the track super early for a bike-run workout. I don't have a bike though, so I played around, sniffed stuff and even tried to push my monkey off his rollers a couple of times when he said the magic words "ten-nine-eight-..." and "in three, two,..." I can't help it I get so excited on countdowns wondering what comes next! We did 3 min fast bike pieces followed by 400, 800, 1200, 1600 and 3000 m runs at 10 km pace. Seemed pretty relaxed for me. Then again I cut across the infield instead of going the long way around.

You'd think they'd know its shorter that way.

I guess that's why I'm the pack leader.

Although I did get busted as the track is not dog friendly, a Vancouver Parks guys kicked me out :-( Pee on you!

Later,

The Gaffer
