Memoires of a Gaffer

Hiya Doggers!

Last night we were watching "
Memoires of a Geisha" and I think I could star in a similar movie.

It would be called "
Memories of a Gaffer". After all, good doggers aim to please and are masters of the art of teasing, entertaining, playing and being excellent companions.

There are other similarities. For one, we undergo extensive obedience training, and if you haven't shame on you! Next we are taken from our families at a young age to being this extensive training. There are schools for Geishas and there are schools for Gaffers.

What makes sets us apart from a Geisha is ball fetching and trail running. Let's be realistic here, can you even imagine a Geisha chasing a ball, romping through a 15 km trail run or fetching a stick from the ocean?

Then again can you imagine a Gaffer sharing a quiet meal or appreciating a garden? Me I'd probably pee on it then eat the flowers.

To each their own.

The Gaffer
