Hot off the press!
This Wednesday November 8 (my monthly birthday as well, thank you for asking) at approximately 7:30 am, Bert the Killer dog returned to his old stomping grounds in Kitsilano.
Based my own eyewitness reporting I saw the story unfold in slow motion.
My good buddy Belle was chasing and jumping some nameless dog, and in the melee she ever so lightly stepped on Bert's mild mannered alter-ego (who shall remain nameless to protect his identity).
In a split second, that once quiet and mild mannered pooch was transformed into a snarling, snapping juggernaught of destruction.
Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde?
Are there more triggers?
Are any of us safe?

As a very close human friend to the so called "Bert" .. I can attest to the fact that "Bert" was only acting in self defense. Sometimes.. it can get to a fluffy guy- especially after having his favorite squeaky toy stolen from right under his nose.. by a tail wagging disco flashing dog!
