Being a good leader, I would like to give you a quick gift un-wrapping for dummy doggers.
While just tossing gifts on the floor is often good enough, catching is also fun. However, our peeps feel they have to wrap up gifts just after winter solstice. Why, do they actually think we have opposable thumbs? Hello!
So, here is a little photo essay on how to unwrap a box that your nose says is full of goodies! This one was from my Aunty Martina and Uncle Rob who thought they would move up in the pack order by giving me a gift. He he he. I don't think so...
You see, oh naive little followers, offering ma a gift is showing deference and respect to me, definitely an act of submission to my authority.
I am still the alpha. But nice try ;P
Step 1: begin gnawing at the corners. These are easier to open up than the top or bottom which are tempting big targets. The bigger, dumber doggers out there may continue to attack the flat sides for longer, but... that's the way it goes.
Step 2: Begin working in towards the middle as the wrapping works loose and shreds. Remember to move around the room a lot leaving a mess wherever you go. This discourages future wrapped gifts...
Step 3: Pose while proudly displaying your trophy. I haven't figured out ribbon yet, I think its to floss with once you're done eating!

That's just JJ talking tough. The lick I got on Thursday said otherwise. I'm saying it worked.

Hey, let's not get carried away!
Just because I licked you doesn't mean we're dating or anything! If I remember correctly I had just licked my butt and I had to get rid of the nasty taste somehow :P
This is how I see it; Aunty Martina is #2 relative to me and alpha to Uncle Rob because she could beat him up with one arm behind her back.
I'll leave pack order position #3 empty for now until a better candidate comes along.
Uncle Rob is #4 or lower.
