Hiya Doggers!

Today I when snowshoeing on Cypress! I was so stoked to be back on the snow. I may have overdone it a little bit at the start blasting up and down the trail while my monkey poked along at a snail's pace... well it looked like he was running on showshoes. Maybe it was me using my super-canine speed powers, or my monkey was just slow.

The snow was sooo nice, fluffy, loaded with cool smells (ha ha ha). Here's a pic of me just after I decided to start waiting for my monkey. I think he was speeding up or something...

Can you see my little snow beard? Makes me look wise...

At the top of the trail near Hollyburn Ridge there had been no early morning monkeys on the trail at this point, so the snow was getting deeper and deeper. At the end it was up to my tummy, and let me tell you boys- that snow can be mighty chilly on the undercarriage!

On the final climb to the summit the snow had drifted into deep piles and I was snow ploughing the last meters. Brrrrr... No way I was posing at the top!

On the way back down the sun was peeking through and that was the only glimpse of sun all day.

It was all very nice, but I was way too cold to stop and admire the view. If it was up to me I'd of driven my monnkey like a rented mule back to the car and my nice warm blanket!

More adventures coming soon!

Licks and sniffs,

the Gaffer
